So who’s this fella you may ask? Looks a lot like me don’t you think? Ha, well that is because this cool dude is my brother Oscar.
Anyway he asked if he could be featured on my blog…usually for these requests I would say no, but as he is my brother from the same mother it’s a request I will accept more than happily.
In a few weeks time I’m taking part in the Giant Dachshunds Anonymous Easter Walk & Bone Hunt Event.
It’s being held at Painshill Park where I have heard it’s very beautiful and lot’s of fun to be had.
Any money we make from donations will go to a good cause - Last Chance Animal Rescue.
So today is my mum’s favourite holiday of the year..Easter! She’s been a extra good mood today..perhaps it was those hotel chocolat treats Dad bought her!? I tried to have a sniff and a poke but I was told that they were for mum’s consumption only! Humph!
We had a really long walk in the park and we worked out so hard that we headed to our local pub, The Stormbird. I fell asleep watching Dad ‘sample’ all those different beer types.
I have some good news to announce, Mum told me that I have a new collar in the post soon for the upcoming spring months. She ordered it from Walk Me This Way and I just can’t wait to show it off. How exciting!
Walk in Regents Park with Phil Sausage Dog Hotel and the gang
So I went out with Mum and the gang on Thursday to Chiswick House. Dad’s been away since Tuesday with his man friends and me and mum were feeling sad and lonely so thats why we met up with the sausage gang…to cheer ourselves up!
We had so much fun, mum let me climb trees, wander by the lake, and I made a new girlfriend! (Tuppence a long haired mini) Me and Tuppence tried to have some fun, but mum said I was too young! Still a great day despite the humans raining on our parade!
Later on we was getting a little peckish after all our activities so mum popped into a cafe and tied me up outside. Although I’m more clever than her and I made my way out of the knot and into the cafe. It was so warm in there and all these people made a fuss and cuddled me. I didn’t care about them though…I just love my mummy :)
Alexandra Palace on Sunday! Look for little me - baby Henry Hooray in my knitted jumper!
I had so much fun yesterday that I begged Mum to take me to meet the sausage gang again at Regents Park today. She had a little grumble at Dad on my behalf too because she said it meant a lot for us all to go as a family. In the end between mum’s grumbles and my soft eyes we melted Dad and he came to see us with the other guys.
We had so much fun again! I think I have some news too…I have a girlfriend called Sizzle. She’s a little older than me but I just couldn’t resist she has a beautiful black and tan coat and that sweet little butt!
On Sunday, Mum and Dad took me to meet at Alexandra Palace to meet the Sausage Gang for the first time. I was a little nervous at first but after a few minutes off the lead I was right at home and part of the gang! It was so much fun and I made some great new friends.
Mum and Dad enjoyed themselves too but I could tell Mum didn’t like the mud…she’s such a girl sometimes!
Today was a lazy Sunday. I had some surprise visitors baring hot cross buns for Mum and Dad - the guests being Jack and Chloe. I have one question to ask…where was mine?
After they left it was time for us to go for our Sunday walk. We went to the local park and I made a new friend Wilson a labradoodle. We had a good sniff of each other and I thought he seemed quite a friendly chap for a SE5 dog!
Later I had a stroll through the daffodils that were springing soon..actually that’s a lie..mum made me pose in them! (Don’t be hard on her, she did give me treats!!)
It’s been a busy few days for me which is why I haven’t posted. But, after my former mummy Paula was asking where my posts were..I figured it’s time for another.
So you may ask, what makes me such a busy dog?
Well on Wednesday I hung out with Dad and his bestfriend Joseph Prince. It was great to have some man time, they roughed me up ready for puppy class which was good because whilst there I got into a few scrapes with some other hounds. I won’t name and shame though, they meant no harm.
After class Joseph cooked my mummy and daddy a delicious meal and because I was getting no attention I decided to play hide and seek. It took them 20 minutes to find me (did I not already tell you I’m the best at hide and seek?
Then Thursday night I hung out with some of Dad’s other friends. They were pretty cool, they were drinking beer and playing the playstation and they even let little me have a go!
Today I was pretty tired and mum and me had a lye in. She’s been working really hard and I’ve missed her these past few days. So to have some quality time was just what we both needed. Then Dad rang and said we could come for a fry up at our friend Kyles house and you know me, I just love Kyle! I’d never been to his house before and his girlfriend was there dressed as a grey bear…well it seemed like it in that furry coat she wore!
So as you can see I’m just having the time of my life and guess what, puppy class emailed mum and told her I’m doing really well and next saturday I start a new class in the park. How exciting is that? It’s just all go for me!
Anyway, i’m tired just even thinking about all those things I have done these past few days. It’s time to hit the hay.
